Three DCG web forms to close

Helsinki, 30 November 2010 - ECHA will close three DCG web forms relating to certain exceptional situations today at noon (GMT). This would allow the affected companies just enough time to submit their documentation, receive instructions and submit their dossiers before the deadline at 24:00 (GMT). Other DCG web forms are relevant for registrants even after the deadline and will thus remain open.

The three web forms are:

Two on the completeness of dossiers (issue 10) and one on Lead registrants failing to submit the registration dossier before the deadline (issue 20.2). They will go off-line today at 12:00 (GMT). These forms enable a registration dossier to be submitted to ECHA before the registration deadline, and affected companies need both to submit their documentation and receive instructions from ECHA before that. By submitting their request to ECHA by noon today companies still have time to take these steps before the first registration deadline at 24:00 (GMT).

The remaining web forms are relevant even after the registration deadline of 30 November and will therefore remain on-line. However, if a company is in a position to provide its documentary evidence and wants to proceed with their registration before the registration deadline, it has to contact ECHA by 12:00 (GMT) today at the latest also in these cases.
